  • March 16th – Dinosaurs
    Keith Snow takes us back millions of years to explore the extraordinary world of dinosaurs and the latest insights from palaeontology.
  • April 20th – Birds of Prey Rescue
    We welcome back Stephanie Callister-Jarrold for an uplifting and informative talk on the rescue and rehabilitation of raptors.
  • May 18th – Fingringhoe Wick
    Liz Huxley returns to share her deep knowledge and stories from one of Essex’s most treasured nature reserves.
  • June 15th – Beasts of Borneo
    Join Peter Merrett for an unforgettable journey through the rainforests of Borneo and the remarkable creatures that inhabit them.
  • July 20th – Annual General Meeting (AGM)
    A chance to review the year, share ideas, and shape the society’s future.
  • September 21st – Amazing Fungi
    Tricia Moxey brings to life the hidden world of fungi—beautiful, surprising, and essential to our ecosystems.
  • October 19th – Predators of South Africa
    Peter Hogarth guides us through the lives of lions, leopards, and other iconic predators of the African plains.
  • November 16th – Wonderful World
    John Watkins showcases the diversity of wildlife across the globe with images and stories from his travels.
  • December 14th – A Wildlife Party
    We end the year with a festive celebration of nature—and of our wonderful members.
